I mentioned at the closing of year-end that I was setting up a number of new features, and today I’m going to start rolling some of them out.

Over the next few weeks there will be more, including a completely new blog design.

O.K., here goes:

For starters, my sign up process is completely new.

When you sign into my website at kingofcopy.com, or from anywhere else inside the site, or from my blog, the series of e-mails you get is brand spanking new.

In these new e-mails you will also get access to a couple of really cool interviews I did, in print, that I’ve never revealed before. There is some compelling personal and business information in there I know you’ll find interesting.

To get these interviews, just re-sign into my site at http://www.kingofcopy.com and you’ll receive them all over the next few days, and you’ll be privy to the new signup e-mails also.

Second, another new features is called “Ask Me, Baby!” I will now be answering e-zine subscriber questions by video, probably once a week or so. I enjoy making videos and they’re becoming easier to create and produce, so I think this will be a great benefit to you as well.

Plus, I can get away with saying things in person that I probably can’t get away with in print.

So “YES” I will be using the f-word and other things real grown-ups say in REAL life, not in internet-world.

Now let me warn you. I anticipate getting loads of stupid questions to answer as well, and if it’s a stupid question, I’m going to very bluntly and candidly let you know on these videos, just how stupid you or your question may be.

But don’t worry, I won’t reveal any of your personal details or the fact that you are stupid, so you can still submit these questions knowing your dumbness is safe between us, and probably your immediate family. (you can only hide so much from so many people)

Few quickies today.

First, if you have time, go and either rent, or buy a movie called Rabbit-Proof Fence. It’s an incredibly heart-warming and inspiring story about three little girls battling against all odds, who wind up making a 1200 mile journey, on foot, just to get back to see their mothers.

If you’re a parent, or if you’re into self-development at all, or if you simply admire and respect courage, you won’t just like the movie, you’ll love it and watch it over and over again, as I have.

Second, earlier this week I posted another free interview on my site that has been getting a lot of feedback and a lot of traffic. Most of them talk in very general terms and give out what is taught in just about anybody’s first marketing lesson. e.g. “What you need to do is build a list then use Adwords” Then you buy my latest secret formula product.

In your interview with Christian Godefroy, that I just watched, you gave away very very important stuff that I’ve NEVER heard in marketing lessons in the 7 years or so I’ve been following marketing. For starters, I now know why I like you and your stuff so much. The fact I now know that makes me like you even more I might add. What you said about how to write regular emails is exactly how yours come over to me. Which is why I keep reading them. I now know how all of your products and services are structured and the pricing of them and why. Others have talked in general terms about things like that but not so specific. Great information. I have heard Peter Thomson say that product prices should be high so the information is valued and acted upon. I have never been so riveted by an interview like that before. Real specific useful information that’s definitely worth a lot.

I see they are saying in some quarters “Who will be the next Gary Halbert?” (As if there ever could be a replacement) For me you are the natural successor to Mr Halbert’s throne. Lets face it, you’re already The King, so a king should have a throne. Plus you learnt part of your trade from the master himself and his attitude and his aptitude are magnified in you as far as I can see.

I guess that this is really just a fan letter to say thank you so very much for the interview. Thanks and best wishes.”
